Alex Pall of The Chainsmokers leads an interesting life and has a house to match. The Grammy-award-winner Alex Pall purchased the 1930’s built home in the Hollywood Hills 2 years ago. The 1930’s home features renovations that were made in both the 80’s and the 90’s with an open layout so spacious that a tree grows in the entryway.
While Alex Pall enjoys the mashup with stone fireplaces and slate floors, he wanted help when it came to decorating. To complete this task The Chainsmokers DJ enlisted the help of Peti Lau an accomplished designer from New York. With a style called “AristoFreak”, Lau had been using her unique mix of bohemian and aristocrat in restaurants and homes throughout the United States and Thailand.
Alex Pall’s home was already eclectic in style and she approached each area as its own individual space with its own unique style that still flows together. Alex Pall had already begun decorating his home before she got to work with jungle themed wallpaper and a bright orange velvet couch in the living room. She continued the nature them with natural and jungle themed accents and furniture. His bedroom was transformed from its original industrial feel to a soft chalet theme that created a restful and beautiful space to relax.
The success that Alex Pall his home in the Hollywood Hills came with The Chainsmokers, a DJ duo that includes himself and Drew Taggart. While DJing was initially just a side hobby while working various jobs in New York, he realized while working at an art gallery that it was his passion and calling in life. He approached his manager about his goals and was introduced to Taggart, which is how the Chainsmokers are they are known today were born.
Taggart and Alex Pall immediately knew that they both had a lot to bring to the table. The 2 were inspired by the others’ talent and immediately set out to start producing the music that they both loved. With their combined talent, The Chainsmokers were able to capture the hearts of fans from around the world.
