Businessman And Entrepreneur Jason Hope: Making An Impact Through Philanthropy

Futurist Jason HopeScottsdale, AZ resident Jason Hope is a highly successful entrepreneur, futurist, investor and philanthropist. The Arizona native graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He also earned an MBA from the school’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Hope is passionate about technology, especially desktop software, mobile apps and gaming. He has used that passion to make a number of companies become profitable. But while technology may be the straw that stirs the drink, he is truly committed to giving back to the community in which he lives and works .

Philanthropy is now a primary focus for Jason Hope. He supports an organization that is doing great work that impacts Arizona and the rest of the nation. That organization is the SENS Foundation. The foundation does anti-aging research and works towards improving people’s quality of life and extending their lives. Their’s is a unique take on anti-aging activities. They work towards curing heart disease, lung disease, Alzheimer’s Diseases and others that cause the body to breakdown and age faster. They also work on preventing these conditions from developing.

Hope is committed to supporting scientific research and innovation. Hope found the organization through which he fells he can have the most impact. SENS. He did so by discovering his passions, deciding whether to help local or national organizations, choosing to give money, time or both and doing research along with getting recommendations from loved ones and neighbors. As a result he has been able to have a meaningful impact on an area that affects millions of people. Jason Hope pointed out that some charitable organizations need volunteers to share their time and expertise while some others primarily need cash to further their work.

Hope feels compelled to use his assets to help others. And he is passionate about helping local organizations as a way of contributing to the communities around him. His overarching goal is to help local communities to thrive. The $500,000 donation Jason Hope pledged to the SENS Foundation in 2010 was to help the organization continue its work to understand, arrest and prevent the cellular damage that grows with age and the side effects related to metabolism which can lead to premature death.

SENS works on cell atrophy and loss, nuclear and mitochondrial mutations, death-resistant cells, extracellular crosslinks, and extracellular and intracellular aggregates. Understanding these areas can lead to longer, more enjoyable lives for many people.
